I'm done with my LAST semester of classes in my Education Program! The past two weeks were gruelling to say the least! The week of the 8th I had to pull an all-nighter (literally) and during finals week I had to pull two nights of staying up until 2:30 and 3:30 getting final papers and presentations put together! It's been a whirlwind! But I'm done! Now I get to relax and eat lots of goodies (well, not too many) for the next three weeks until I start my Student Teaching. I student teach from Jan. 12th-March 20th. Then I graduate May 1st! I can't believe I'm finally to this point in my life! It is SO exciting!
I have to thank Doug and my children for being supportive of my decision to go back to school during these past 2 1/2 years to do something I love--learn and TEACH! :] It hasn't been easy and we've had to make sacrifices, but it's been worth it!
I think it's a blessing that my children have grown up seeing that learning is important and on going. They know that you're never too old to learn or to go to school! I love that they talk about going to college all the time! They know it's very important!
Thanks to all those who have given me words of support these past couple of years. I really have appreciated their pep talks, words of encouragement, and prayers on my behalf. You know who you are and I thank YOU! :]
Well, I'm off to take a nap! I deserve it! hee-hee :]
Love to everyone!
