The Loss of A Sweet Grandpa and Way of Life

Sweet Grandpa Olson passed away this morning, Sunday, January 11th, 2009 at 7:45 a.m. He was 84 yrs. old. We know he is happy and joyful to be with his dear wife, Ann, who passed away more than 20 years ago. Our Heavenly Father's love and comfort was felt as the family gathered during their father's last moments here on earth. His last words were, "Good-bye kids".
Then, he peacefully crossed the veil to join his eternal companion.

The Salmon River Valley where Grandpa Olson had an 80 acre ranch/farm.
Throughtout his life there, he raised pigs, cattle, and hay. He had horses for his daughters when they were kids, but the most favorite of all for his two sons, Doug and Mark, was the freedom to ride their motorcycles all over the farm!
We will miss his way of life that we all got to experience and enjoy during our summer visits with "Grandpa Olson on the farm".

We love you Dad/Grandpa, and we will miss you very much!
